APRIL 2020 - April is Confederate History and Heritage Month and, although celebrated primarily among Southern states, represents a significant part of American history and is appropriate for recognition anywhere in the nation, especially in regard to veterans.  With an estimated three quarters of a million war dead, we take time every year to commemorate the bravery, valor, and sacrifice of Confederate veterans, and all veterans, who perished during America's bloodiest conflict and greatest tragedy.  Take time this month to remember the people, history, and traditions that constitute an important part of our national heritage and memory, inherited by us through our ancestors; a legacy entrusted to the current generation.
